Please Note: We are capping this training at 35 people on a first come, first served basis. We ask that each organization send no more than three people to this training. Thank you for your understanding.
In this three-hour online training, participants will be able to explore community building activities that enable youth to build relationships and feel more connected to each other, their youth workers, and their programs. Participants will practice different types of community building activities and assess how to and when to use them in programs. Through discussion and practice, participants will also be able to identify activities that are age-appropriate, and allow for youth voice, choice, and reflection. This training will address activities that can work for both virtual and in-person programming; come prepared to try on something new!
