It will focus on how to recognize primary and secondary trauma\, not only in young people but in the youth workers who support them. Participants will learn about Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA) six guiding principles of a trauma informed approach in order to embed the corresponding healing-centered practices in their programs.
