DESCRIPTION:Thursday March 31st & Friday April 1st\, 2022 \n10:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST both days \nOnline Training \nTraining Fee: $150pp* \n*We do not offer scholarships for our trainings\, but do offer discounts on a case-by-case basis.  If this fee presents a challenge\, please email us at best@hria.org. \nPlease Note: We are capping this training at 35 people on a first come\, first served basis.  We ask that each organization send NO MORE THAN THREE staff members to this training.  Thank you for your understanding.\nWe’ve adapted our supervisors training for the virtual world!  This 2-day\, six-hour training will focus on supervision and program management in youth work.  It addresses the roles and responsibilities of supervisors\, communication\, work relationships\, program management and the specific supervision of youth workers within a youth development framework.  This year\, we’ll also address best practices for supervising youth workers virtually.

DESCRIPTION:8 Tuesdays 9:30AM-2:00PM \nMarch 15th – May 10th\, 2022* \nTraining Fee: $450pp** \n(no scholarships available) \n*Skips April 19th for BPS vacation \n**This rate is the Boston Subsidized Rate \n(only available through Health Resources in Action hosted community trainings thanks to funding from United Way of Mass Bay and Merrimack Valley)** \nThis eight-session\, 32-hour training is based on the nationally recognized Advancing Youth Development curriculum.  This training provides participants with grounding in the Positive Youth Development Approach.  Participants are introduced to an appropriate common language for discussing youth development\, and will explore information about positive youth outcomes\, healthy relationships and boundaries\, cultural competence\, adolescent development\, and other critical issues. \nPlease note: This training is currently planned to be held in-person. We are following local\, state\, and federal health guidelines in relation to COVID-19.  If it seems that it will be unsafe to meet in-person come March\, we will cancel this training and issue refunds to any participants that have signed up.
